Your documents are data. We make them AI‑ready.
Drawings, procedures, safety analyses, data sheets and equipment lists each describe the same plant. Athena Prism pulls out the identifiers they share, so documents that never mention each other still connect.
- 1 · Your documents
Many documents of the same kinds, in old and new formats, across your repositories.
- 2 · Prism reads them
Multi-layered classification finds the recurring structure and extracts the metadata.
- 3 · A metadata model
Tags, equipment and drawing references your systems and AI can use.
One pump. Five documents. One search.
Search for backwash pump 410-PU-01A and every document that names it comes back together, even the two that never mention the drawing.
| Document | Links to 410-PU-01A by |
|---|---|
| P&ID drawing 41-22-0207 | Tag on the drawing |
| Operating procedure | Tag + cites the drawing |

Why search alone misses it
Full-text search indexes words. An identifier like 410-PU-01A is often split at the dashes or dropped by word filters unless someone configures the index for every format, and search cannot tell a tag from a phone number. Text inside drawings often never reaches the index at all, and on a drawing tags are usually drawn in pieces — an instrument tag's letters in one half of the bubble and its loop number in the other, an equipment number's area prefix above the rest. Prism classifies the identifiers, puts the pieces of every instrument tag and every equipment number back together without mixing the two, and records the result as metadata, so one exact search finds them.
One label often covers several units: 410-PU-01A/B/C is three pumps. A search engine indexes the label as text and never finds 410-PU-01C. Prism lists each unit on its own, so every one is findable.
Before and after: one procedure
Automatic backwash. A backwash starts when differential pressure transmitter PDIT-4104 shows filter headloss above the set point. The control system opens XV-4106 and starts the air scour blower 410-BL-01 for three minutes.
It then opens XV-4105 and starts the duty pump 410-PU-01A. Flow controller FIC-4103 ramps flow control valve FCV-4103 to the backwash rate…
